Thank you to all the Macedon residents who signed multiple petitions for local candidates this year. The results of these petitions are as follows:

TOWN OF MACEDON POSITIONS

Town Court Justice (1 seat) - 4 yrs. - Candidate Lon Sanford (incumbent) will be on the Ballot in November.

Town Councilmember (2 seats) - 4 yrs. - Candidates Bruce Babcock (incumbent) and Jeremy LaMarti (also Faith and Freedom party) will be on the Ballot in November.

COMMITTEE PETITIONS
The County of Wayne / Town of Macedon Republican Committee members also carried petitions for a position on the County / Town committee. There are five (5) districts in the town and two (2) representatives allotted for each district for a total of 10 committee members. These committee members also serve as representatives of each district on the Wayne County Republican Committee. The Town Committee is tasked with vetting candidates for the local elected positions and assisting with annual primary petitions. New Committee members will be sworn in September 2025. We will update the committee member list after then.
